Note the splash page and first panel of page two have been altered.  Someone
has added water droplets onto both figures of Namor, as well as cropping the
bottom of the splash page.  The lettering credit for Artie Simek has also been
removed, though originally it said, "Lettered by Adorable Arthur (WHO?)"  This
appears to have been done in subsequent reprints of the original artwork by a
reprint editor, identity unknown.  Other subtle coloring changes and spotting
of blacks have occurred throughout the remaining ten pages as well.

Marvel Masterworks (plus other reprint books like Essentials) were were always
a hit & miss story in some of the EARLIER printings, be it in bad sources
(altered reprints), "some recreations" and oerall completeness.


Looks like they have used the altered reprint from  Marvel Super-Heroes
(Marvel, 1967 series) #37 (July 1973), as the earlier Iron Man Special (1970),
doesn't suffer the same fate?

The ReMasterworks (2nd editions) once Cory came on board should be a great
improvement on all production levels and is much better package.
